Wilson took over as head of Cameron Art Museum this summer. She said her focus is on “community engagement, especially on accessibility (reducing barriers to access), inclusivity and collaboration through partnerships while focusing on presenting the highest quality modern and contemporary art in Southeastern North Carolina.”

“The Sunday New York Times while drinking coffee is my favorite thing to do on the weekend,” she said. She also reads The New Yorker, Artforum, The Atlantic, StarNews, the American Alliance of Museums magazine, Smithsonian, National Geographic, WILMA and the Greater Wilmington Business Journal.

I’ve read David Cecelski’s book The Waterman’s Song so many times that it’s starting to fall apart. I’m reading Katy Hessel’s A Story of Art Without Men right now.”
